Allison and Matt chose to celebrate their marriage in a way that felt deeply personal and true to them. Tucked away at their Saugatuck Airbnb, they exchanged vows beside a peaceful pond with only their closest family members and friends present. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, filled with quiet moments, meaningful words, and the kind of love you could feel in the stillness around them.

After the ceremony, the day unfolded slowly and joyfully. Guests gathered for a relaxed cocktail hour featuring a champagne toast, a beautiful charcuterie board, and Nothing Bundt Cake to celebrate the newlyweds. It felt less like a traditional reception and more like a cozy, intentional gathering—full of laughter, connection, and time to simply be present with one another.

To end the day, we made our way to Oval Beach for Allison and Matt’s bride and groom portraits. With perfect weather, soft light, and Lake Michigan stretching endlessly behind them, the portraits felt effortless and timeless. It was the perfect close to a wedding day that proved sometimes the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that are quiet, intentional, and shared with the people who matter most.

A love worth slowing down for. Allison and Matt's elopement in Saugatuck was a reminder that intimacy is everything.
